ETC is a five-day camp held over the long Easter weekend, where we all come together at Stanwell Tops to look at the significance of Easter and Jesus’ death on the cross. It is a time to see how this truth affects us now, participating in various discussion groups to engage with various topics. ETC is an excellent opportunity to meet new people and enjoy each other’s company through many activities and games, while also learning and building our personal relationship with God!
No matter what faculty, country, or what your opinion of Jesus is, ETC aims to be a space where you are welcomed. We invite and challenge you to stretch your understanding of God, make new friends and be spiritually fed. Invite a classmate along as well!
God’s guidance shapes our hearts and lives, leading us on a planned course, but how can we know it is the LORD who establishes our steps? Join us at ETC 2024 as we understand what guides our lives and what it looks like to be Led by God!
At ETC we will celebrate the Easter weekend, as well as explore the topic of God’s guidance through discussion groups, electives, and talks from Paul Winch. We will also have a chance to connect with each other during free time, FrisFest, and our theme night!
Easter Time Conference (ETC) is an Easter conference, run annual by and for Credo UTS, and welcomes uni students from surrounding CBD campuses where there is no Christian group (e.g. JMC, Torrens, SIT)
Paul is the AFES Campus Director at Credo UTS and has been an integral part of ministry training. He is also passionate for the gospel and its outreach to students on campus. Paul’s heart for student ministry has seen growth within Credo UTS as a result of his involvement in the organisation of campus happenings. In his spare time Paul loves to watch cricket and watches entire matches during the summer.
ETC is jampacked with activities, ranging from our:
We are open and welcoming to all people! If you've never opened the Bible before, have been attending church weekly, just started exploring Christianity or have never tapped into it before, ETC can stretch your mind and teach you new things, no matter what your knowledge currently is. You can take things at your own pace, choosing simply to observe activities such as prayer if you so choose – no pressure!

The ETC program is designed for full-time attendance, and we prioritise attendance towards FT tickets. However, we’d still love for you to join us even if you can’t make the whole weekend. Part-Time and day tickets will be offered in limited numbers, opening on March 8.
We want everyone to be able to attend ETC, including you! We can offer payment plans to people who are genuinely struggling to pull the cash together. This involves paying a deposit and then making payments over time.
Subsidies also available for international students and for students who are investigating Christianity.
If you would like to explore any of these options, please email [email protected].
If you'd like to help other students come to ETC, you can include an extra donation with your registration payment. Email [email protected] for more information.
For those registered full-time we can help with car-pooling to Stanwell Tops Conference Centre on Thursday afternoon / evening, and back home at the end on the Monday afternoon. (Some may need to catch the train to Helensburgh station and be met there.) We will be in touch closer to ETC with more details.
For those coming to ETC part-time we ask you to organise your own transport to The Tops Conference Centre. It is approx. 10 minutes past Engadine in the Sutherland Shire. There is plenty of parking on site for those who are driving.
If you have any questions about transport, please shoot us an email at [email protected].
Sleeping arrangements are 6 max per dorm room (single-sex) and each room has bathroom facilities. Email [email protected] if you have particular questions or requirements.
Stanwell Tops caters to a range of dietary requirements, please note your dietary requirements in the rego form. Stanwell Tops is also a ‘nut-free zone’ as far as catering and food provided by the venue - so while that means no peanut butter at breakfast, we’d still recommend you to bring your own EpiPen if you are anaphylactic.
The site is owned and run by the Churches of Christ denomination and our use for ETC is subject to respecting their values, including being drug and alcohol free.
