Easter Time Convention 2027 The Righteousness of God
ETC is an annual camp held over the Easter Long Weekend, where everyone can come together to look into God’s word at Stanwell Tops. Lasting 5 days from the 25th to the 29th of March, ETC 2027 is a time of reflection, learning and praise as we remember God’s love on the cross and its enduring impacts to us now. It’s also a time to connect with others as we enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the righteousness of God, revealed to us in Jesus.
About ETC
How can unrighteous people stand right before God? All people have a fundamental need for God’s righteousness, and the good news is that it has been revealed in Jesus. Together, we’ll explore what this means for our faith, our lives and our confidence before God and others.
Meet our speaker: Michael Raiter
Michael Raiter is the Director of the Centre for Biblical Preaching, based in Melbourne, Australia, which exists to train and equip churches and Christian leaders in faithful expository preaching across Australia and around the world. An internationally recognised Christian speaker and author, Mike began his career as a teacher before studying at Moore Theological College. He later served for 11 years as a missionary in Pakistan, was Head of the Department of Mission at Moore Theological College in Sydney, and then became Principal of Melbourne School of Theology.
Mike is passionate about helping people preach the whole of Scripture faithfully, clearly, and engagingly. He is the author of 15 books, including Stirrings of the Soul, which won the Australian Christian Book of the Year Award in 2004. Mike is married to Sarah, and together they have four adult children and three grandchildren.
What happens at ETC?
ETC is jampacked with activities, ranging from our:
- Main sessions with talks, singing and prayer.
- Review groups where we can reflect on and discuss the talks.
- Facnet time where we bond with our faculties.
- Seminars and workshops that unpack world relevant topics to stretch our thinking even further.
- Easter sessions where we remember Jesus’ death on the cross and his resurrection.
- Individual reflection times where we reflect on how God’s word affects us personally.
Never Been to a Christian Convention?
ETC is open and welcoming to all individuals. Whether you’ve never opened the Bible, just beginning to explore Christianity, or even currently a believer, ETC is designed to draw you deeper into the Bible and foster biblical beliefs. Participants are free to proceed at their own pace and may choose to simply observe activities, such as prayer, with no pressure to engage.
For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith, just as it is written, ‘The righteous by faith will live’.Romans 1:17

*The ETC program is designed for full-time attendance, and we prioritise attendance towards FT tickets. However, we’d still love for you to join us even if you can’t make the whole weekend. Part-time tickets are only sold as the two options above, and Day Tickets (covering any time between 8.30am and 10.30pm) will be offered in limited numbers. Part-time and Day Tickets are only on sale during Standard Rego, opening FEBRUARY 9TH and closing MARCH 15TH.
Payment Plans and Subsidies
ETC is for everyone! Payment plans are available for those who would like to attend but are having difficulties with payment. Subsidies are also available for international students, as well as for those who are investigating Christianity. ETC is also graciously enabled by donations, and we are keen to assist those who are eager to come but are struggling financially with the Full Time ticket. We offer a range of discounts, subsidies, payment plans, and limited bursaries (for financial crisis).
Requests for payment plans and limited concessions are open during Early Bird and Standard Rego (until March 15th), and close once Late Rego begins.

Explorers Tickets
If you’re not a Christian and are investigating Jesus, we’d love for you to join us at ETC! When you register, select the ‘Explorers’ ticket to get a special discounted price of $250.

What to Pack
- Sleeping bag or your own bedding
- Toiletries and a towel
- Clothes for warm and cold weather
- A Bible and pen
- Keep cup and some snacks
- Board games, or fun stuff for free time!
- Your faculty colours for the camp games
Transport
For those registered full-time car-pooling will be available to the Stanwell Tops Conference Centre on Thursday afternoon / evening, and back home at the end on Monday afternoon. (Some may need to catch the train to Helensburgh station and be met there.) More details to come closer to the date.
Part time attendees are asked to organise transport to and from the Tops Conference Centre. Parking will be available for all attendees.
