Easter Time Convention (ETC) 2025

Easter Time Convention 2025

17th - 21st April

ETC is Credo’s annual camp held over the Easter Long Weekend, where everyone can come together to look into God’s word at Stanwell Tops. Lasting 5 days from the 17th to the 21st of April, ETC 2025 is a time of reflection, learning and praise as we remember God’s love on the cross and its enduring impacts to us now. It’s also a time to connect with others as we enjoy each other’s company and celebrate Christ, the Cross and the Crown.

ETC is a welcoming space for everyone, whether you’re looking to explore Christianity, or already a Christian. No matter what faculty, country, or what your opinion of Jesus is, ETC aims to be a space where you are welcomed. We’d love for you to come along, expand your understanding of God, build new friendships, and nourish your spiritual growth.

About ETC

This year at ETC 2025, we’ll be looking at the topic of Atonement. Join with other students from UTS and other CBD Campuses as we hear talks from Rhys Bezzant. Join us as we explore the power and passion, the hope and peace, the forgiveness and salvation, the wonder and majesty of how ONE death WON life.

Meet our speaker: Rhys Bezzant

Rhys Bezzant

Rhys is a lecturer at Ridley Theological College based in Melbourne, and is passionate about the gospel and training future leaders for ministry and mission. He was ordained priest in the Diocese of Melbourne in 1997, and he has served on the ministry teams of both small and large Melbourne Anglican parishes, including Heidelberg and Carlton, as well as Prahran and Brimbank. His heart for student ministry began with involvement in the AFES while as an undergraduate, and has since continued with various involvements at LaTrobe, Melbourne University and now as a speaker for ETC 2025.

What happens at ETC?

ETC is jampacked with activities, ranging from our:

  • Main sessions with talks, singing and prayer.
  • Review groups where we can reflect on and discuss the talks.
  • Facnet time where we bond with our faculties.
  • Seminars and workshops that unpack world relevant topics to stretch our thinking even further.
  • Easter sessions where we remember Jesus’ death on the cross and his resurrection.
  • Individual reflection times where we reflect on how God’s word affects us personally.

Never been to a Christian convention before?

ETC is open and welcoming to all individuals. Whether you’ve never opened the Bible, just beginning to explore Christianity, or even currently a believer, ETC is designed to draw you deeper into the Bible and foster biblical beliefs. Participants are free to proceed at their own pace and may choose to simply observe activities, such as prayer, with no pressure to engage.
